Hydcal is a hardenable and rigid composition calcium hydroxide manufactured from the reaction of two components: a base paste and a catalyst paste, which shall be mixed upon its use.
It is used as cavity sealing and pulp protection, in restoration procedures;
Hydcal does not impair polymerization of compound resins used in restorations. It has high dissolution resistance by phosphoric acid used in acid etching of dental structure;
Radiopaque material, with color similar to dentin;
INDICATION: Pulp capping, protective lining under restorative materials, cements and other base materials.
Packaging: 1 tube of 13g base paste + 1 tube of 11g catalyst paste + 1 mixing block
