Bioseal photopolymerizable is a product to be applied to the occlusal surfaces of teeth.
The polymerized product forms a continuous and resistant film, used to seal fissures, pits and grooves, protecting them from caries.
The product also has a complementary prophylaxis action, due to the presence of fluorides in its formulation. The use of sealants has been widely recommended due to their success in significantly reducing occlusal caries.
Fluoride concentration present in the product:
Sodium Fluoride 2.42% = 1.09% fluorine ions;
Calcium Fluoride 0.4% = 0.19% fluorine ions.
2 syringes with 2.5g of Bioseal photopolymerizable
1 syringe with 3g of Attaque Gel (37% ortho-phosphoric acid conditioner);
6 applicator nozzles.
BENEFITS
- It contains two sources of fluoride giving the product an initial rapid action (exerted by Sodium Fluoride) and a more moderate but profound action (Calcium Fluoride);
- Light cured;
- High adhesion rate;
- Excellent fluidity – good flow in pits and fissures;
- Fluoride Release – anti-cariogenic activity;
- Lower caries recurrence rates in sealed teeth.
