AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL MIXING?
Automatic mixing is recommended to improve the quality of the alginate mix and to achieve a homogeneous compound. Scientific studies [1, 2] have shown that centrifugal rotation produces the best results. Impressions taken with this technique show significantly less porosity than those obtained with other mixing techniques (manual, bowl rotation or standard mechanical) which tend to trap more air.
The MX-300 has been tested with the Zhermack range of alginates to identify the best mixing times for each alginate and to guarantee product technical characteristics.
