Two-Step Polishing System for Composite Fillings
A two-step polishing system specially developed for achieving a high-lustre, intraoral polish on all composite filling materials. The innovative polishing matrix with diamond particles guarantees a brilliant shine in minimal time, along with an extended service life of the polisher.
1039RA & 1139RA: The highly flexible polishing lamellae adapt to any surface structure, providing perfect polishing results, even in difficult-to-polish areas such as occlusal surfaces. The lamellae gently prepare the material’s surface while preserving the original structure of the restoration.
Application: Use coolant at 50mL/min while polishing to avoid heat build-up. External cooling should be directed between the polisher and the composite filling to prevent excess spray water towards the handpiece and to optimally cool the area being polished.
This also enhances polishing efficiency, as the fine composite particles removed during polishing are rinsed off with the water, resulting in a perfect high-lustre finish.
